Lily and the Octopus

Lily and the Octopus is about a man, his dachshund, and an unforgettable adventure. This book is Steven Rowley's debut into the world of novel-writing. His first novel has achieved plenty of success, and made the "American Booksellers Association's IndieBound Bestseller List" in June 2016.

Who is Steven Rowley?
Steven Rowley is a 43 year old paralegal and screenwriter who has worked as a freelance writer, newspaper columnist, and screenwriter. He is originally from Portland, Maine, but now resides in Los Angeles, California.

Rowley published this book after the death of his dachshund, Lily. The story goes on to follow the adventure of a young writer who discovers that a small "octopus" has attached itself to the head of his dachshund, Lily. It is an epic tale of love, loss, friendship, and trust. The book has been described as sensitive, hilarious, and emotionally rewarding - all in one.

This short story was written in 100 days and became published on June 7, 2016. Lily and the Octopus has received many positive reviews, and is often described as a "must-read."
